CM Naidu Facing Life Threat Again

AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is reportedly facing a threat to his life as a group of naxals allegedly belonging to the banned CPI ( Maoist) party planned to attack him in New Delhi.

It may mentioned here that Naidu was attacked by Naxals during his visit to Tirumala and escaped with injuries in October 2003.

The ultras have already conducted recce around the AP Bhavan where the CM stays during his visit to New Delhi. The Delhi intelligence officials alerted the AP Bhavan officials that some unknown persons posing as media personnel visited AP Bhavan and conspired to attack Naidu in the premises.

It is learnt the naxals conducted recce at least six times at AP Bhavan and also identified spots to attack the leader anytime in the next visit to the national capital. Alerted AP police immediately swung into action and began efforts to tighten security by deploying more forces. Naidu also reviewed the security arrangements at AP Bhavan with top police.
