Can Chiru Show Everything In 2 Hr 27 Mins?

Megastar Chiranjeevi's highly anticipated Khaidi No.150 has completed its censor formalities and received U/A certificate. The film's runtime has been locked at 2 hours and 27 minutes. While the crisp runtime is a positive sign, it also has become worrisome for some fans and buyers.

It is known that Khaidi No.150 is the remake of Tamil film 'Katthi', directed by AR Murugadoss, which had a runtime of 2 hours and 46 minutes, 20 minutes more than of Khaidi No.150

Murugadoss's films are known for their trademark screenplay and they don't possess too many unwanted scenes. The promos of Khaidi No.150 have conveyed that there will be good number of songs and scenes involving punch dialogues, probably an addition to the original film.

Hence, fans wonder, how come the runtime of Khaidi No.150 is 20 minutes shorter than of Katthi? Have VV Vinayak and his team of writers left any crucial scenes? Have they toned down the key scenes laced around the farmers' suicides as none in that aspect was shown so far?

These kinds of questions are worrying fans now. They however hope that considering the expectations, Chiru and Vinayak must have taken the best possible decision
