Popular reel villain Anandraj is a loyal worker of AIADMK since 12 years. Recently he expressed his displeasure over the party decision of selecting Sasikala Natarajan as AIADMK General Secretary and quit the party. A day after he quit, he started to receive death threats from anonymous persons over the phone. The actor filed complaint at Nungambakkam Police Station. The investigation has been started and security has been provide to Anandraj’s residences in the city. Few policemen have been deployed to guard his residences.
Yesterday AIADMK passes a resolution that Sasikala, the close aide of late TamilNadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha, is one the person who is fit to become the AIADMK’s General Secretary.
On the other side, actor Anandraj said that he was still loyal to AIADMK and former CM Jayalalith’s death was a huge shock to him. He further said that those threatened him were not from AIADMK.
